Tulsi  ( means "the incomparable one" ) is a holy plant that can be founded in almost every indian house. We Indians worship of it because of the religious connection of Tulsi and Lord Vishnu. Tulsi was a dedicated worshipper of Lord Krishna and the plant  is named as Tulsi after the name of goddess "Tulsi". It is a believe that tulsi is a path between earth and heaven.




How many types of Tulsi found in the world?


There are many types of plants found . Indian names of these Tulsi were based on their "Avtar " of Lord Vishnu. Some of them are Rama Tulsi, Krishna Tulsi (Shayama Tulsi), Van Tulsi Marua Tulsi, Barbari Tulsi and Kapoor Tulsi.



What are benifits of keeping Tulsi at home?

Keeping Tulsi plant at home keeps mosquitos away from its surrounding due to its mosquito-repellent qualities.  Tulasee plant also has air purify characteristic . It is a believe that it absorbs carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and some other toxic gases and make the place purified.  It is stated as a wonder plant because it plays a vital role in medical field as it is used to make many ayurvedic and generic medicine. Tulsi tea is also benificial for health. Tusli is used as many health producs also.  As Tulsi is rich in vitamin C and zinc, it could cure seasonal diseases like cough, common cold, etc. It is  majorly helpful in eliminating stress also

Its also neglect negetive energy and increase positive energy .


Where need to place Tulsi plant?

It should be mainly at balcony or at window because it needs sufficient amount ; approximately of 7 hours of sunlight in a day.  If you plant it in indoor, please ensure that it get excess amount of sunlight daily.  Dont place thing like brooms, shoes, dustbin or other stuffs near this or other plants.  Try to maintain other plants like flowering plants near it .

There is a tip while buying Tulsi plants that is it should be in order of odd numbers as 1 tulsi plant or 3 tulsi plants and so on.


Maintainance of Tulsi plant


Water the plant daily . So that, the soil  become moisturised.
• We need to add good quality organic fertilisers to its soil to build it better.
• We should remove the dried leaves if require.
